How to change the look of hyperlinks in Spun theme

  I’ve just set up a new blog using the Spun theme on WordPress.com but find that the hyperlinks are difficult to see in the normal font. The only way I have made them more obvious is to make them bold, but this means that they are now too disruptive. Is there any way of changing the font colour to make them easier to see by adding a code somewhere in the HTML view of the post? I’m a complete novice, so help appreciated.

  Hi there! Changing link colours is something you’d need Custom Design for. Since your site is over a certain age, you still have access to Custom Design as a standalone upgrade. It can be purchased in your dashboard:

  https://kmbresearcher.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php

  The CSS to change link colour in your posts and pages is:

  .entry-content a {
   color: #bb00bb;
  }

  Change the colour code to anything you like.

  Thanks for the reply. Is it easy for someone with no knowledge of code to use CSS? Also, if I buy the upgrade and the decide not to renew the subscription, will i automatically lose any changes I have made using it?

  Is it easy for someone with no knowledge of code to use CSS?

  In the case of the link colour you want to change, it’s a matter of copy-pasting the code I gave you into the CSS editor, so it’s very easy.

  And if you need further help making other changes, there are volunteers and staff to help you over in the CSS Customization forum.

  That’s correct, CSS changes are only applied to your site when you have the Custom Design upgrade active.
