how to change the order of posts

How do I change the order of posts?
I couldn’t find anything about ordering in the help categories. I went into my All Posts screen, thinking this is the place because I did switch the order of the two, just two, posts that I’ve done so far, by clicking on the little arrow next to title while the Bulk Actions deal was set to edit, then clicked Apply. But when I went to view . . . it was still in the wrong order. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to edit the date or timestamp for one of the posts to get it into the correct order. Use this support document on “scheduling” posts as a guide.
The out of order thing can happen right at the very beginning, or if you happen to change the timezone at settings > general between making posts.

Thanks, that solved the immediate issue.
(But there should be a standard ordering box beside each post, just as there is for ordering photos in the WordPress feature for creating galleries and slideshows. Amazing that there isn’t for such a basic need when it comes to ordering posts.) -
Posts are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest at top) by date and time, and the date is part of the URL for the post, so you really don’t want to go around changing the dates on posts after they have been published. If the search engines pick up the post before you change the date, then it will produce a 404 error and too many of those and the search engines will quite indexing your site.

All the more reason for a simple ordering feature where you number multiple posts for the order you want them displayed. — I am in the process of recreating posts from my blogspot site, so they are being created here on WordPress as new posts, but they are in fact older than the first one I put up.
Is there a way to copy the blogspot posts to my new WordPress blog so they retain the original time stamps? -
Importing your blogspot posts should keep the same time/date stamps, but the permalink structure here and there is slightly different. WordPress includes the year, month and day and blogspot only includes the year and month, so the permalinks for the posts will be altered during import.

I don’t have time to check it out right now, so I bookmarked that support page; will pick up in the a.m. Thanks, again, for your help.
