How to change the page link order
-
I am trying to change the order of my links to my pages, the links under the header, ‘Home’ is first but i have created one called introduction which i want to go first.
Also, can i change the name of my “home’ page??

you can, change the home page to a static page. and retitle another page to be the posts.
when people come to your blog by its URL they will see the home page first.
in your Dashboard:
Settings—>
Reading
and change “the front page displays” -
dlager,
I tried that, so now my ‘introduction’ page comes up first.
My Posts page is now a different page, but it leaves the ‘home’ page and tab redundant. can you get rid of the ‘home’ tab? -
unfortunately on some themes you cannot get rid of the duplicate Homepage.
this explains further:
I do not know which themes allow that duplicate home tab yo disappear.
-
“home tab to disappear”. I really should learn to proof read , before i comment.
my personal experience is, that generally people rather see blog post first. you might consider making an exciting title for your “intro” or about page instead of switching page orders.
Something like “read this first” etc.
thats why i don’t use a static home page anymore.
I don’t know what other bloggers think.
