I’ll get straight to the point. That isn’t how the blogging format works. The latest post always shows up at the top and the earlier ones coming after it. This is controlled by the timestamps of the posts – and that is not under your control when your blog is free-hosted by WordPress.com.

One solution is to self-host your own blog using WordPress.ORG software, but that generally involves quite a bit of webmastering.

Some of the other volunteers here might provide a solution, so please wait a bit to see if there are other answers.

As @thenakedlistener stated, the automatic way of reordering posts for the theme you’re using would necessitate modifying the PHP code, and you can’t do that on WordPress.com.

You could play with dates to reorder your posts, but that could become problematic when you have a lot of articles.

I’ve had a look at theme using the Portfolio Custom Type, and even there you can’t reorder them, most recent goes first.

Also, it’s normally easier and more engaging to you readers to see the new stuff right, instead of going far down.

    Sorry about that.

Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool wherein the most recent published post will display on top. You cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It’s designed to serve your visitors as they come to read the most recent posts and will not be inclined to trawl through hundreds of posts to locate it.

See here for the option of creating a book-like structure > http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/ Perhaps that will work for you.

Or you could use a single sticky post as an index page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

Or you can falsify every date-stamp before publishing.
