How to change the site title for a facebook post

I am trying to change the site title that appears on a post on facebook. It is different from the initial title and because it contains the dates of a seminar it is important to change it. I have changed it in the customise/site title menu but it stillremains the same when i post it on facebook. Could you please help me?

Could you remove the date from site title and try posting your site link to Facebook?
You can use this tool: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug to check how your site will be shared in Facebook.
