How to change the tiny default image for my browser tab

I’ve recently changed the image on my gravatar but it hasn’t changed the image that appears in the internet browsing tab (Google) or indeed on my wordpress dashboard (on the left hand side) it still seems to retain the old image.

Hi, thank you for quick reply. I’ve followed the instructions and the image has changed in the Settings/General menu, but the tab setting has stayed as the old version – even after clearing cache and reloading. Does it take time to register the new image?

Perhaps just give it some time to update? Let me know what happens.

As a woman, I’m probably just born impatient – You don’t have to agree!!! Have just looked this morning and everything is updated correctly. Thanks very much and it was such a simple procedure. I’ll remember that for another time.
