how to change the widget font color

    hello all…

    I’m still learning how to use wordpress and css… so your help would be much appreciated…

    i am currently using the theme “oxygen” but the widget font color is a little too dark for the background color that i chose. Is there any way to change that in CSS?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Though we do have a Volunteer who frequently helps with CSS editing he’s vacationing this month and isn’t available to help. Not to worry though as the custom design upgrade comes with Staff support, and I have flagged this thread for Staff attention so you get the support you need.

  • Natay,
    To change the non-linked text, you will need to add this to your CSS stylesheet (you can click preview before saving to make sure you like it)

    body, button, input, select, textarea {
        color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    #FFFFFF is white. You can adjust from there. (search for the just right hex color here: http://www.december.com/html/spec/color.html)

    To change the links, I’d add something like this:

    #secondary li a {color: #FFFFFF;}

    And tweak accordingly.

    Good luck!
