How to change the width/height of table's row or column?

  I wonder how to adjust the width and height of a table in my test page in my blog? here is the link:

  Notice the right side slideshow has too much height in black, I want to adjust it.

  How do I adjust the size of a slideshow?
  Slideshows are set to fill up the full content width of your theme. Resizing them is not currently possible but if you try different themes you will find that the size of slideshows varies. http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/#additional-information

  While can’t understand more on WordPress design, I am looking for alternative option. The reason is below:

  If you open my test page, you will notice a panoramic image in the left, because the image is hosted from Clevr which has a fix size, if I adjust it, the image becomes blur. That means it leaves me lots of space on that page, that’s why I put it into a table with some description under a picture in the right.

  I further think maybe it’s a good idea to put a slide show related to that panoramic image (eventually the blog will be used to host virtual listing of house), that’s why I try to put a slideshow there.

  Since you said the slideshow can’t be adjusted width/height, I have to think of other better solution.

  Can I edit a slideshow? I guess I can’t just type [slideshow] to create a slideshow, but I don’t see the option to edit it, did I miss anything here?

  I come across another question related to this:

  I found maybe I can insert a gallery thumnail in the right cell and by clicking on the thumnail user will open a gallery of couple pictures.

  However, when I try to insert a gallery to the page, I surprisingly found some options are missing: I don’t see the same options as you can see here (5 options: add an image, …): http://gammagirl.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/01-post-editor-add-image.png

  @visualstudiohouse: You have ignored some piece of advice I started giving you in another thread. You’re using a flexible-width theme that doesn’t allow you to arrange content based on fixed widths. You obviously have a very high resolution screen (and so do I), but the majority of users don’t. Here’s what your page will look like in a 1280 wide screen:

  Your attempts to arrange the content of your page are futile: you need to select a fixed-width theme.
