When I search for lissimone.com in google. Some articles show up with title: Post Navigation. How can I change that. It looks so unprofessional.

Hi there!
I replicated your search in Google and this is what is showing up for me (screenshots):

http://d.pr/i/t3msI don’t see anything referring to Post Navigation. Are you still seeing this problem? If so, can you please take a screenshot so I can better understand the issue? Please upload it to your site’s media gallery and I’ll be happy to take a look.
This page has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Hi! Thank you for checking. After I posted my question I found out what the problem was. I created my own header for the website. Which means my title of the blog is a jpg file. Therefore I did not type in the title of the page in settings of wordpress. And google couldnt register a title. That’s why the title was Post Navigation.
I solved it by adding my name as title of the website. So now it states lis simone, which is much better :-).
Thanks again for you reply. -
by the way I looked at the screenshot. What I do is I put lissimone.com in google search. Then you will see some articles. I will put a screenshot in de media galery. What I notice is that google uses random titles for the articles. Where you see lis simone as title, in the article it’s a different title. The third search result shows that an article comes out with the title: lis simone |page 2 – Post Navigation.
So my problem is half solved. Can I influence the titles Google is using? -
While you can control the basic privacy settings and the content for your blog or website, you cannot control when your site will get picked up or updated by a search engine or how they will rank your site. Those details are up to each search engine, and they are always changing.
In addition, Google takes some time to update its index once any changes are made to an existing site. WordPress.com has no control on how your site appears in the Google index.
Please be patient, in the meantime, Webmaster Tools has some more info that you can take a look at.
