How to change Uncategorized

    In your dashboard, go to posts > categories and you can edit it there. When you first start out, “uncategorized” is the default category and since wordpress needs at least one category assigned to posts, it cannot be deleted. You can go to settings > writing and set a new default category of your choice and then you would be able to delete uncategorized if you wished.
