How to change (upload) pictures after choosing a theme.

  Hi, I’m new to blogging and just trying to set up my page. When you choose a theme, can you change the main pictures? I can see that you can change the header, however I don’t see any other link to upload my own pictures. I am currently using Sela, as I like the style, however I don’t want photos of books, etc. I want to add my own photos. Hope you can help. Janine
