how to change Url

  Hey, i want to change my Url from jasbaku.com to bakukadampa.com
  Is there a way of doing this? I don’t want to lose any of my traffic, so an automatic redirect would be good.
  (if this is possible, pls could you answer like ‘WordPress for dummies?’

  Yes you can change, but you will have to buy that new domain name. There is no way to change a registered URL once it is purchased. If you purchased it from wordpress.COM, and it has been less than 2 days, then you can get a refund. If it is over 2 days, then no refund.

  Is buying a new domain name like setting up a brand new domain? or could it be linked to the current one.

  I think if you read the support documentation you will understand more clearly how domain mapping operates. The content is still in the .wordpress.com blog and when you purchase domain mapping it’s mapped to the domain name you purchase. What that means to visitors is that when they click on any original link to a .wordpress.com blog URL they will be seamlessly redirected to the same content under the new domain URL.
