how to change website name

    need help =(

    1. i could not remember how

    2. last time i found how, it won’t allow me to use whimsicalmayhem as my website name and yet when i check twhimsicalmayhem.wordpress.com no longer exist.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The authors have deleted this site.

    I have registered and designed a website but miss spelled the name, i.e I used the spelling ‘carnivale’ rather than ‘carnevale’ can I change it/

    eg can I change amicuscarnivale.wordpress.com change to amicuscarnevale.wordpress.com?

    @amicus928 – I’m seeing a Custom domain name (amicuscarnevale.com) on amicuscarnivale.wordpress.com so technically it doesn’t matter what the underlying WPcom website URL is.

    If you want to change the underlying WPcom URL, you can do so simply by registering a new site with the correct spelling and transferring the upgrade to the new site. Or you can change your URL entirely.

    Because you already have a Custom Domain name attached to the misspelled site, I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

    Just for the future, rather than posting into an unrelated thread, it’s best to open a new support forum thread so that your issue gets the attention it needs.
