how to change wordpress.com to my own website name

  I am trying to change my wordpress.com website name to a .org website name that i already have.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=redcarunison.org.uk

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  I still haven’t managed to change over my domain when i change the domain on wordpress to my own domain the old website comes up instead of my new wordpress site but with the other name.

  Hey there,

  Paul is out of the office today, and I wanted to make sure you got a response.

  I want to make sure that we’re on the same page. It looks like you have a domain, redcarunison.org.uk, which is registered with another company, that you’d like to have point at us, is that correct?

  If so, then what is still missing is that you need to log in where you registered that domain and point it at our nameservers like Paul mentioned previously. According to the lookups I just did, your domain is still pointed at 1and1: http://www.nominet.org.uk/whois/lookup?query=redcarunison.org.uk and instead they need to have nameservers of:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Once you change those, it can take up to 72 hours for the change to propagate throughout the Internet, but after it has then your site should pull up correctly.

  Now of course if I was entirely off the mark I apologize and please let me know what you are looking to do!
