how to change (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi All,

  I am new to wordpress, but since the moment I have started using wordpress only one thought comes to my mind which is “Why the hell didnt I try this before”.

  My Question is how do I change the default e-mail address wordpress uses to send e-mails to the users which is (email visible only to moderators and staff) to whatever i want.

  It would be at Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile. be sure to click on the Save Options button when you’re done.

  Hey Mike,

  First, thanks for responding. Second.. I still have the same question, I will be more artuculate this time around.

  When a users registers with my site an e-mail is sent and the “from” address is “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” I want to change this address to “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. How do i tdo that?

  from what you suggested I can update my personal address but not the e-mail which is setn out to ther users from the site.

  I didn’t know for sure before hand but from your follow up, you’re not hosted here at wp.com. You actually need to be over at http://wordpress.org as we’re running different software than you are and our answers would be different. (Especially for this one.)
