    How to change wpcomstaging.com to wordpress.com

    The reason I want to do this is because I want to change the user account associated with wpcomstaging but it won’t allow me.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi again @mohawow, if you need to change the ownership for a wpcomstaging site, you’ll need to ensure its plan is current, then contact support directly for help.

    We could also downgrade it, but that would get rid of any plugins and themes you’ve added, as well as any content that relies on them.

    Hi @mohawow,

    Just to clarify, with a site on the Business plan that uses third-party themes/plugins, it’s not possible to change cityiftarsf.wpcomstaging.com back to cityiftarsf.wordpress.com, however you can use a custom domain instead.

    As my colleague @supernovia noted, we would need to revert your site and uninstall these first. Just let me know if you would like to do that.

    Are you looking to transfer the site and plan ownership to another user? If yes, can you please share the username? In addition to that, please ensure that they are set as an administrator beforehand.
