How to changer make the size of the featured image header of my posts smaller?

    Hi,

    So just starting up a blog and ive found a theme I love – the cubic theme.

    I use my iPhone for all of my pictures, and when i put a featured image (which then becomes a huge header of my post), it looks soooo pixelated because the pixels of an iphone image are 920x720px or something and the cubic featured image header is something like 1500×1000 (thats only approx pixels cant quite remember the exact measurements).

    So, i was wondering if you guys could tell me how i could make the template size for the featured image header smaller or something, maybe using css?? or is it impossible? or is there a way i can make my iPhone images enlarged without them turning to really rubbish quality?

    Here is an example of my rubbish looking one:

    see how bad quality it is?

    Thanks so much in advance for your time and help!!!!

    Hi, which iPhone do you have?

    We can certainly bring your image back to its original size with CSS, but with the way Cubic is designed, I’m not sure you are going to be happy with the result. Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.

    body.single.postid-275 .hentry.has-post-thumbnail .wp-post-image {
        max-width: 100% !important;
        min-width: initial;
    }

    Hey! Thank you so much for your response, very much appreciated.

    I have an iPhone 6, and with the custom css youve just provided i think it looks miles better, so thank you so much.

    Just one more question though, with that code i have just pasted in, will that apply to all of the posts or was it post specific? As the other 3 posts I have remain the same (but to be honest they looked fine anyway, it was just that one that was really bugging me)

    Thanks again, you guys are really helpful :)

    Hi, in the code I gave above, yes, I targeted that specific page by using the unique postid CSS class for that post in the CSS selector, which limits the change to only that page.
