How to check for broken links on WordPress.com

Is there a way to scan my entire blog for broken links? Google webmaster reports occasional 404 errors, but I cannot determine where it is finding the bad links. Using the search box on my blog does not bring them up, even when using a portion of the link text. Thank you!

You can use an online link checker like this one:
https://validator.w3.org/checklink
Then, based on the results you need to manually correct or remove the dead links.

Great – thank you! It seems to provide many warnings I cannot do much about (data from the style sheet), but it does point out my broken links as well – which is something that becomes increasingly challenging to check up on in both old posts and comments after 10 years…
