How to check the keywords position

I am so confused how to check keyword position exactly. Also how the article is ranking? Yesterday I checked in some rank checkers , the keyword wasnt showing up. But when i manuallly cheked it were there. two keywords. but today they just disappeared. I want to know how people check their articles and keywords, and how they check the progress?

I have checked most of the links , they are awesome but where can I ask my original question? I want some forum to ask ranking questions. I am so confused that when i didnt add my site to webmaster then one day i checked some rank checkers for some keywords. All rank checkers didnt show my kws in first 100 positions. then i manually checked and found all in 50, 40th in short in first 100 positions. After reading your post when I add into bing and google webmaster. Neither rank checker is showing kws nor i can find manually even in all the pages. But funny thing is that my webmaster is showing good position for some kws, but why its disappeared from Google? Is my site penalized? but i didnt do anything neither spamming nor copied content?

i clicked the support button , but then again the community and forums options. I clicked forums, but when i ask on forum then you say we cant reply. I need to ask this question as I am learning things these days and want to be clear on concepts. Please either answer this in the light of ur experince or send me link of some forum where i could ask this question directly.

Hi @kudokids, there are a lot of tools out there for finding your search engine ranking. I cannot vouch for any of them, but you are welcome to try whatever you’d like. Try searching your favorite search engine for “seo rank check” or something along those lines and you’ll find plenty of options, however we do not provide support for these.
We do have advice on improving your traffic though.

So maybe focus less on rank and more on developing a community / following, and on providing excellent, unique articles that will help your users. Thanks timethief for mentioning this. I didnt even know of this kudokids 1. Its my gmail kudokids1, so it just picked up that. Original site is kudokids.wordpress.com.
And supernovia I am also thank ful to you for your input. But I think I am not delivering my point right. I am not asking that u help me in ranking and why i am not ranking etc. I asked that question in the start and timethief gave me enough links to learn and improve things. My only concern is that question i already explained in detail. Is there any forum who can help me to check things, because my webmaster is showing things are improving a lot. For me this site is not important to ramk for me my learning is important, but i am stuck at my key words position. i just want to ask that ‘ is it possible that once your site was in Google and then immediately it can disappaear or i am checking things entirely wrong. Just any seo forum wher i can ask questions where i stuck.

This forum does not answer ranking questions, and I can’t recommend a forum that does. I can recommend using your favorite search engine to search for such a forum. I tried searching for “SEO community forum” and found several, but again, since I have not used them I cannot endorse one or another. Good luck!
