How to choose which posts show in showcase page in Oxygen theme

On my showcasepage, I would like to show only (under “recent articles” and “more articles”) the posts with a certain category. How can I do that?

Hello there,
It is not an option to display posts by category in the Recent Articles and More Articles area of your front page. Those are pulled automatically based on date alone.
In the case of your theme, sticky posts are dedicated to your slider, and don’t apply to the rest of your posts’ organization.
Your only option to display the posts of a specific category on your front page, is to create a Category tab in your menu and make it your home page. The problem with this is that you will not see the specialized layout of your theme’s front page. It will look similar to this category page on your theme’s demo site:
