how to chortle correctly photos in a post

    I know there are two steps to added ‘identification’ text to photos when they are uploaded to a post. The first step is the side box that opens up and includes the alt text box, as well description and caption. The second step involves hovering over the photo until a box opens, clicking on the pencil icon, and then again, adding your url. I have heard this referred to as chortling, but I just don’t fully understand the best and most comprehensive to execute this step.
