    The standard WordPress.com service is free. If you want to upgrade, then you will be asked to pay for that upgrade.

    From Details and Terms:
    You can try any participating upgrade for a 14-day trial period, at no charge.

    You will be asked to provide payment information when starting the trial, but you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period is up. If you cancel before the period is up, you will not be charged at all.

    We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.
    You can cancel trial upgrades under Store → My Upgrades in your dashboard at any time.

    This is the exact same thing that is on the website. My question is if and when I cancel the premium upgrade what will happen to my blog that I created in the premium site.

    The blog will remain. Staff do not delete blogs here. We bloggers delete bblogs.
