How to claim Google Authorship for my blog

  Hi,
  I have been reading lot on this but I am anunable to claim authorship for my wordpress blog. It would be really great fo you could help me like always :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Check out this support document here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#google-webmaster-tools. It has a step-by-step guide for claiming authorship using Google Webmaster Tools.

  You will need to login/sign up for the Webmaster Tools, and then from the site enter your URL, and get a code. This code is then put into your WordPress site here: Tools -> Available Tools.

  I ahve already done this. But I wanted my image to be diplayed in the search result on the left side of my blogs link. I see many bloggers have this and when I googled, I found few articles to claim authorship via Google plus account so that search results find them more authentic.

  I’m not really too sure what you mean. Are you saying you want to connect your blog to your Google+ account? Hopefully someone else can help you with this, because I don’t know.

  You can setup your authorship with Google by connecting your Google+ profile with your blog. Please take a look here.
