how to clone my current blog into a 2nd blog

    Hi all.

Currently we have one blog we’ve created that is associate with one of our two photography business websites. We are in the midst of launching the 2nd website that will need a blog of its own.

We’re happy with the customized work we’ve done so far on the first blog, and want to simply clone it for the 2nd site (and then alter some of the graphics as needed). There’s enough work done on the first blog that a clone of it would be a better starting point than trying to recreate the changes and look of it to suit the 2nd site. I realize that there’ll be a few incidental costs (upgrade purchases) which works just fine for u.

Searching the FAQ and forums hasn’t shown a way to do this.

    Suggestions?

    Many thanks!
    Jerry

Hmm. I don’t think there is a way. But isn’t it just a matter of copying and pasting your CSS code? Oh, I guess setting up the widgets too. Sorry, I don’t think there’s a quick way round it.

Thanks for the quick reply –

A 2nd question though: do all of the various “style” choices I’ve made for the first blog all live in the first blog’s CSS code? I set that blog up back in early June, but have at most a hazy memory of what I did. Just know that we were happy with the final result, and really want to have the same for the 2nd blog.

    thanks!
