How to clone my own blog?
-
Hi Gurus,
I need to create a blog, I like my existing blog, although it won’t take much long time to create a new one from scratch, I am wondering if WordPress allows us to clone our own blog?
Just want to save some work and time.
Thank you very much.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What exactly do your mean by “clone”? If what you mean is duplicate content blogs then WordPress.com requests that all duplicate content blogs be made “private” and not indexed by search engines.
Duplicate content Google > http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=66359Also note that the only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs are found here > Appearance > Themes
If you mean something else, please expand.

Yes I mean duplicate content, including menu structure…
Thank you in advance if you can tell me how to do this in WP

I basically want to export the blog’s structure: menu, theme, …. as to content, it’s not my priority, because I want to set up a template and then quickly duplicate it
I know WP allows you to export content, that’s good, but not what I really want.
Thank you

That’s not possible.
WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform and we cannot access the database files at all. We cannot edit either themes or templates. There is no FTP access and we cannot upload plugins or themes into our free hosted blogs here.
