How to come back to the Classic Editor

Reading all the answers in the forum concerning the Classic Editor versus the Blue Death Editor, one suggests to login using /wp-admin after the site name. However, this works only for the first time. As soon as you click on the “home” icon to see your site, the system never let you come back to the Classic Editor; it always brings you back to the Blue Death Editor.

Is there any trick that allows you to keep the Classic Editor in place?

You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/

On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
To create posts in the classic editor for you that link is

On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing.

You are both correct. The new Blue Death Editor is horrendous. I bookmarked links to wpadmin posts and pages, and that’s how I create new ones. My trick for keeping the classic editor open is that i copy the link to “View Post” and open it in a new window. It’s annoying that we have to use a workaround. If they ever remove access to the classic editor, I’ll have to go to self-hosted WordPress.org, which still has the classic interface. WordPress.com–fire whoever ruined what was once the best blogging platform available.
