How to configure my email display settings?

  Hey, to elaborate on the question. Is there a way to change the layout of a “new post” e-mail? For example: When I make a new post, theres an email that automatically sends to my followers, but my issue is, it shows the entire post… is there a way to change that and have a “read more” link rather than having them reading the post off the email, instead of getting the traffic from them clicking the “read more” link to the post/site. I’ve noticed other blogs having this ability, and I can’t figure out how to configure mine.

  Hi there. To prevent the full post from being included in notifications and in feed reader you have to edit your feed settings. Under Settings ->Reading in the dashboard, next to “For each article in a feed, show ” select Summary. Save settings.

  To have only part of the post appear on your home page, you need to insert the more-tag into each post at the point you want the preview to stop. To be clear, the more-tag only works on your own blog’s home page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
