How to configure these shortcodes ?

  My theme has provided me with a list of social networking short-codes but i am having problem in configuring it properly .
  They are :
  social type=”facebook” href=”#”]
  [social type=”twitter” href=”#”]
  [social type=”youtube” href=”#”]
  [social type=”linkedin” href=”#”]
  [social type=”skype” href=”#”]

  Can anyone help me in this case . For ex. i have a Facebook page with username http://www.facebook.com/kiffyshop

  I want my visitors to connect with me on Facebook , twitter etc.

  Put the link to your account where the # is.

  Its still not working . After replacing my url with # ( [social type=”facebook” href=”www.facebook.com/kiffyshop”] the new link that generates is :

  http://kiffyshop.net/www.facebook.com/kiffyshop

  when i click to share on Facebook .
  …………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
  Just check yourself by scrolling down to the footer of my site :

  kiffyshop.net.

  Well if you are really referring to http://kiffyshop.net then that’s a wordpress.ORG blog, meaning this is the wrong support forum to be asking about it. You should seek help over at http://wordpress.org/support since this forum is for wordpress.COM support ONLY and both work very differently, hence why any answer we give you may not work.
