How to configure Woocommerce / WordPress Shipping Dimensions for variable length Tubing?
-
Hello,
We sell Steel, Aluminum and Carbonfiber tubing. Some products we only sell a complete ‘stick’ and configuring the shipping is easy. We ship using Product Dimensions. How can I configure the shipping dimensions for tubing that varies in Length – but the Diameter of the tubing wont change.
So, I sell 3.5’dia tubing at varying lengths (sold by the ‘inch’).. The ‘LENGTH’ will vary – but the diameter will not (per chosen sku / tube size).
>If someone wants 50′ of 3.5’diameter tubing = our shipping rates never work out..
L=1′
W=3.5′
H=3.5′
So, I don’t want the Width & Height to multiply by 3.5′ – each time the customer orders 1′ or more … The shipping gets crazy…
(in the backend, somehow = I want it to know that only the LENGTH changes.. NOT the diameter)…
