how to confirm ownership of my website ?

    Issue 1. I am often asked to confirm ownership of my website using any of these two methods :

    i) Using File upload to my website’s root directory.

    ii) Include a HTML code in the source code on the main page of your website

    But I am not a IT guy and I don’t know how or where to do either of above two procedures in my WordPress website . Please guide

    Issue 2. Secondly, I am being often asked my Google Analytics statistics but again , I am unable to attach Google Analytics to my wordpress website . Need help here also
