  Hi,

  It seems like you have purchased a custom domain name on GoDaddy, and would like to use it for your WordPress.com blog, is that correct?

  I’ve found two threads with a similar request:

  – https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/use-godaddy-domain-for-wordpress-site/
  – https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/use-of-godaddy-domain-name/

  You would need to do two things:

  1. Buy a paid plan (https://wordpress.com/plans), if you don’t already have it

  2. Either map your domain (https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/) or transfer it (https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/)

  Mapping means that you keep managing your domain on GoDaddy, and transferring means that you will now manage your domain on WordPress.com. In both cases you can use your domain name for your WordPress.com blog. 🙂
