how to connect my domain to wordpress

    Hi guys, i have an issue that need help.
    I have an existing domain which built by using wordpress. So i have an account that can design and update my website.
    Currently I wanna make my website update to business level, but I dont know how because the account i use to modify my website cannot connect to my wordpress account. I create a wordpress account and try to connect it to my website, but am not sure the transfer will cause damage to my existing website. So how can i update my website to business without too much trouble, pls help
