How to connect pages by clicking on an image?
-
I have found that people do not know how to use tabs to get to my pages. So, on my first and only page, I have linked images and they are supposed to click on internal URLs. However, it would be even easier if they could just click on that image. Right now, they will likely click on the image and only get a larger image. Thank you for helping with the vocabulary and an understanding how to do it ! !
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you add the images, you can select to link them to the media file, attachment page or custom URL. If you select custom URL you can specify the URL they go to. This can be a link to a page on your site or an external link.
If you’ve already added the images, you can edit by clicking the pencil icon on the image (in visual mode) and changing the “Link to” drop down.

Thank You TRUCKLOADS! supportmyoffice, you have transformed my blog! Now, I can really hope to reach other people. ylean, I am not sure where to place <img src…/>, if I use WP to get the image on the page. Could you tell me more?
However, would you, smo, or ylean help me with another, issue?
let’s say, I am using html and I tell a very short story: BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Is there some way to get the 3 blah linked, so if someone click on it they can go to original source of the story? Or, to say it another way,
I say, “Excerpts from the book, BLAHBLAHBLAH.” and then link to the excerpt that was posted by an online book critic.Any way, THANKS!!! You have made a big difference.

When you type the blah blah blah, you can highlight the text and click the Insert/Edit Link button (looks like a chain link) if you’re in visual mode or the button that says link if you’re in text mode. They have the same function. When you click it, it will let you put in a link. It can be a link to something on your site or an external link.
Hope this helps!

This is the guide for creating links in posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
This is the general link model:
<a href="URL HERE">Highlighted anchor text here</a>
This is the visual result – it’s not actually linked here in the forum.
Highlighted anchor text here1. Enter the relevant descriptive anchor text you want to link to first. Note that “here” is not a good choice.
2. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don’t highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
3. Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link.
