How to contact customer service

I saw in your documentations, that to get my site’s IP address I need to contact customer service… but first I need to find out how to contact you directly, as opposed to using your crowdsourced help…

You can contact staff directly at WordPress.com using Livechat if you upgrade to a paid plan. A paid WordPress.com plan will also be required if you wish to map a domain you already own to your WordPress.com site.

Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to ask that information from your hosting provider.

I wanted to point make anything.net to it, and I had it set up in the past but then it stopped working a while ago — I suspect because, as magicrobot said, this is not a feature which is allowed for free plans (anymore). -
@makeanythingblog you would need a plan for the feature to work properly. Having the IP addresses alone would just result in an error when your domain loads up.
How would you like to proceed?

I purchased a WordPress.com Blogger (trophiesofgrace.blog) for $69.00 on Feb. 6 with a domain registration with Privacy protection for trophiesofgrace.blog.
When I go to that URL from the Internet I get a blog about hunting and fishing. It’s obviously not my blog. If the blog name was already taken, why wasn’t I told this? What is my unique URL?

Can you clarify what you mean by “From the internet” ? Are you typing the address in the address bar, typing something in a search engine, clicking a link like the one above, or doing something else?

According to Bing, there are numerous Web sites and blogs that are named “Trophies of Grace.” I thought I was buying a unique blog site, and it’s not even unique to WordPress.
May I change the blog to BettyJHassler.blog?
