how to contact support for real?

I am having problems with a mistake when I first registered last night, and keep getting a message to “contact support” — yet I cannot find the contact info. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? This is related to an incorrect e-mail address (a typo with reverberations, really…)

That account has already been activated on WordPress.com. You can change the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.

I’m getting a message at the top of my dashboard telling me to confirm my account through the bad e-mail (OK, confirmed, good to know). But I’m also getting this message:
There is a pending change of your e-mail to ********@gmail.com. Cancel
And it’s still listing the bad e-mail as the real one. Will this pose any more problems? Maybe it just takes a little bit for the new e-mail to become official?

Regarding the pending change, you’ll receive a confirmation email with an authorization link to click at the new email address.
If that hasn’t arrived, I recommend checking your spam folder.

I really want to take care of this today so I can purchase the domain tonight and get everything set up. I’m nervous about putting in my credit card info with all communications still going to a non-existent hotmail account. (For example, I’m not getting any of the forum follow-up e-mails for this thread)

Ok, the activation warning is gone. Now, try changing the email again via Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard.
