How to control latest post?

  How do I control my latest posts so the definition of “latest” is around a month. I do not publish very often and would like to have more than one post figuring on my Home page. I do not wish to make use of Sticky posts. I use the Morning after theme. http://platonblog.net/.

  Any suggestions?
