How to convert my DNS wordpress with my old website ?

  Hi,
  I need to convert my “www.modernsunrecords.wordpress.com” to “www.modernsunrecords.com”…

  Ive seen that i have to use these type of codes

  MX <pref> <host>.
  TXT <text>
  CNAME <subdomain> <host>.
  A <subdomain> <IP>
  SRV <_service._protocol> <priority> <weight> <port> <domain>

  But unfortunately I am a beginner in these things and dont understand how to do it. That would be nice if you could give a hand.

  Are you replacing your old web site with your current modernsunrecords.wordpress.com. if so you want to map an existing domain

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If you have email with your Then see here on changes to keep the email working: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

  Or are you wanting your modernsunrecords.wordpress.com. to be a sub-domain of your existing web site? i.e. blog.modernsunrecords.com. That is mapping a sub-domain: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
