how to copy blog to Word

Does anyone know whether it is possible to copy my entire blog (all 96 posts)to Word in one go? If so how?

You can export the blog under tools > export, but that file will contain the posts, pages, categories, tags, comments and probably some other stuff I can’t remember and since Word doesn’t speak HTML or XHTML, the languages of the web, Word will most likely mess things up royally. If you did import it somehow into Word, you would not be able to make changes to it in Word and then import it back into a blog. Once it goes into Word and word mucks with it, it is no longer fit for the web.

My technique is slow and kludgy, but it works – at least for keeping a record of what I wrote on my own computer. I just select each post, from the bottom to the title, Ctrl-C (copy) and then Ctrl-V (paste) into Word. No comments, but the link to the comments remains in the Word file if you should want to see them later.

So it’s not so onerous, I copy my posts every time I’ve amassed about ten.

This may be a suggestion more for 365pwords, since sheldonross wants to copy PAST posts. Try using Windows Live Writer. You can post to any blog from your computer and Windows Live Writer will keep a copy of each post on your computer so you don’t have to copy/paste into Word each time.
