    Hello,
There is no automatic way to make a post into a page or visa versa. You must copy and paste the content from one into the other and delete the original.

Thank you for a very quick answer, timethief !

If I copy the post, it’s a very big post, the post “About me” with a lot of comments, comments from several years ago. (You can watch it in my blog “Nyheter”, if you want.)

If I delete this post from my blog “Nyheter”, this post, including all comments, then will disapear as a blog post? I’m I right now?
In such a case I don’t think I will do this operation. I thought I could copy the post and still have the post left in the blog, i e to have all about me in both the blog, “Nyheter” and in a page “About me” …

I hope you understand my English and what I mean.

    Best regards
    Stig

If you have several Posts you want to “sort” – use a Custom menu with one of the links to a Category that is common to all the Posts you want to sort out – sorry no links – late out the door

auxclass, thank you for answer, but I’m sorry to say, I don’t know how you mean. My problem here aloso is that my WP is in swedish and I have to find uot where I have custom menu ;-( … with “one of the links to Category”.
You don’t have a help link to, where I can read more about this?

See below – please read all the links before doing anything – probably not in quite the correct order – but they should work

    Menus

    “Posts on pages”

    Required reading 1: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/category-management/

    Required reading 2: http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Thank you once again. Of cause, I will read the links – tomorrow …
Just now it’s midnight in Sweden, so now I have to go to bed … ;-)

Now I have read all links, and think I know how to do …
I found what I was serching for, in Post on pages. Here I could read as below:
“A static page is like a post – like one post:
Asking if you can display “posts on a page” you have created is just like asking if you can display posts on a post.”

So, if I’ve not been wrong, I can copy the content in my post, and put it into a (new) page. Am I right here? In such a case, I seems to have missunderstanding timethief in her first comment? There I thought that my post in the blog part should disapear when I copy contents from it into a page :-(

You have two options – neither one involves copy a Post and past into a Page

Both require you to make a custom menu – after making the custom menu put in it the Pages you have at the top of the blog in the menu –

Then – if you have only one or two Posts you want to put with the pages in the menu – just add them like a Page (except you are adding a Post) – see my site if you want – the Boating Etiquette entry in the custom menu is a POST –

If you have several Posts you want to put in the menu – then to keep the menu from getting to big – make a new Category – use a better name than my Top-Posts – then assign the Posts you want to be easy to find to the Top-Posts Category (you can have more than one category for a Post – just don’t make more than a total of about 12 for any Post when you count Categories & tags on any single Post – then put the Top-Posts category in the custom menu –

then when people click on Top-Posts – they will go to a page that lists all the Posts with the Category of Top-Posts

    No copy of anything

Thanks once again aukless! Just now it’s seem to be a little late to start, but tomorrow I will follow what you have wright. If I should get some problems, I will come back, and I think you will help me …

I always copy all posts here, so first of all I have to copy and print your post above. For me it’s a little bit easier, when I have an overview over all steps what to do…

You be welcome & good luck

I also print instructions & make notes on them sometimes
