How to copy Stats world map image?
-
Hi, I’ve received visits from 52 countries since the great new country stats tool was introduced last month and I want to put the world map image, from my stats, into a post in order to encourage people from other countries to visit me too. But I can’t seem to get a copy of the image – does anyone know how to copy it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The easiest way is to use scren grabers like SnagIT (premium version costs about $30), or jing (free from the same company as SnagIT). Also, if you are on Windows 7, then you should have a tool called Snipping Tool.
For windows see this article:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Use-Snipping-Tool-to-capture-screen-shots
For TechSmiths Jing, download it from here:

You want the free version because it does everything for you.
Good luck.

Hmmm, I spoke too soon about it being simple – there must be something else I need to do, because I snipped the image, copied it and put it into the draft post and it all looked fine. But when I saved the post and looked at the preview the image doesn’t show at all… when I look back at the editing version of the post the image has gone and in its place is a small square box – any idea what I’m doing wrong? thanks

Make sure that your image format is one of them,
JPG/JPEG, PNG or GIF because wordpress.com supports only these kind of image formats. If that image is nm bitmap or something else then convert it to one of those formats and then upload it. -
