How to create a custom tab image for my site?

Right now, when my http://www.rescapeaward.com site is displayed, there is a blank “tab” image to the left of the site name, regardless of what browser I am using. I would like to insert an image related to my site, so that image is visible as an internet tab or internet bookmark. How do I do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Those images are called favicons. And on WordPress.com, they are part of the “Blavatar” system. Here is the Blavatar support page:
