How to create a new blog from the global dashboard

  I think I’m going slowly made. Love wordpress, have created lots of self hosted and wordpress.com blogs and sites with it but I have spent the last 10 minutes trying to find out how to create a new blog from the global dashboard and I can’t. Am deleting old demo blogs in case I have too many, but I’d be very grateful indeed if anyone could help me with this. Must be the heat – am temporarily in Tanzania.

  I’ve searched the forums, incidentally: lots of queries about how to add self hosted blogs to the global dashboard but can’t see any on this topic.

  There’s a really roundabout way to do it, but just go here:

  If you are logged in to WordPress.com, you can always create a new blog by going to http://wordpress.com/signup as well.
