How to Create a Pinterest Like Site

Hi Everyone
I would like to create a Pinterest like site in WP. That is, a site where people can create accounts and pin media into something like boards, just like Pinterest.
I tried a theme called Pinclone but am having issues with it.
Has anybody done this and if so what theme and plugins did you use?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Help with that theme is going to come from themesic.com as they developed and support it.

Thank you, but I have not been able to get a solution from their support to a core part, which is the actual pinning of images. I have had testers complain that the pinning doesn’t work correctly and find it confusing. All I have received is an explanation why this happens without a solution to fix.
So my thought now is to look for another solution, which is a pity because I like Pinclone, but if users get put off but the most core part, the actual pinning, then that isn’t good for my site.
Hence my enquiry here if anybody has built such a site using other themes and plugins. -

Hi. Thanks again, but no sorry. I don’t want a way to pin to Pinterest, I want to build my own site that is like Pinterest where my users can pin content from other sites. A Pinterest clone.

We’re not able to advise you on how to build something like that, nor can we advise you on specific plugins to use.
You can try asking for advice/suggestions in the WordPress.org forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – the people providing support there are the people who actually make plugins for WordPress, so if something exists that would let you do this, the people there should have an idea.
But Pinterest is a specialist social media platform, built from the ground up by some very smart people. Recreating something like that will likely require a lot of programming, even if you can find plugins to help you add some of the required functionality – it won’t simply be a case of installing a few plugins and tweaking a WordPress theme with some custom CSS.
