Hi there,
Where exactly have you been adding portfolio projects? I don’t see any published portfolio projects on your site, on a draft project at https://wordpress.com/types/jetpack-portfolio/drafts/ibstayfly.wordpress.com, and you don’t appear to have added any content to that project yet.
Portfolio projects are a type of post, and you create them exactly as you would create a post, but unlike posts they don’t appear in the posts list on your site and subscribers won’t see them in the Reader or email notifications. Instead, your site has a specific page where it displays all projects, http://ibstayfly.wordpress.com/portfolios, but that page won’t show anything until you actually publish a portfolio project.
You can read about how portfolios work here:

I added the portfolio projects but in drafts there not pubished yet. But there showing as links and not a portfolio. Is it supposed to be like that

Hi there,
You are currently uploading PDF images into your portfolio posts. To take full advantage of the portfolio and have the images show up use images instead of PDFs.

WordPress.com does not currently support writings to show up in a portfolio. However, if you could tell us more about what you’re hoping the portfolio would look like maybe we can come up with a solution together.
One option would be to link images to your writings.

I wanna have a portfolio showing my creative writings separately from my blog posts. I kinda wanted them to display as a like a flip through portfolio is that possible or no

Hi there,
You can assign a specific category to your creative writing posts and then add that category to your main menu. This way, whenever someone visits that page they’ll only see those specific posts. If you like this idea, here are the instructions on how to set it up:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
Also, the flip through effect you’re describing can only be achieved in the homepage of a blog (post slider) if the theme supports it.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
