how to create a splash page

  I need to create a splash page for my website. The theme I have currently is Perennial, and I can’t change it as it’s for a class project. Please help!

  The link was helpful! I am wondering, though, if I make a static page from my homepage (as it suggests) will users still be able to access the website after the splashpage? I only need it as an intro to the site.

  Yep. You can add additional pages to your menu.
