How to create an image map for front page

  For my main front page I would like to add a book image with text and a link beside it. But it doesn’t seem to work properly, so I am trying to create an image map of the front page main image, but that seems to screw the image up as well.

  Basically, I would like a background image with my book cover to the left of it and text to the right of the book cover that links to my amazon page. How to do this? Thank you.

  I figured it out, but now how do I make the image full size to fit the box content?
