How to create boxes or columns on home page?

  boxes on on the home page, a way to section up the home page with clickable boxes and columns

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It seems like the theme you’ve chosen already does this, to an extent.

  If you’d like your site to look like the Edin Demo page, please review the theme’s support page:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/edin/

  You will need to set your site’s Home Page to use the Front Page Template. Then, you will need to create additional Pages to feature in the grid below.

  To feature a Page in the grid area, set 3 Pages to be Featured Pages in your site’s Customizer under the Theme Options area:
