How to create drop down menu?
-
Hello! I am trying to create a travel website. I would like to make a drop down menu from one of the main button choices titled ‘destinations’. What I am trying to do is have a list of all the continents appear below the 1st choice of ‘destinations’, followed by a second set of lists appearing for each continent (listing the countries). How can I do this? I am completely new to this. Do I need to download something to install for this feature or I can edit my profile directly through WordPress and add this in? Thank you! My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) also.

Hi,
If you’re referring to a WordPress.com site, then see the Reorder Menu Items and Create Drop-Down Menus sections of the Site Menus support page.

Hello!
What you need to do is to nest the Destination page and have the continents and countries fall below. You need to add all the Continents and the relative countries to your menu preferably as categories. Then use the reorder menu button to place the countries under each specific continent. All your content will then have to be assigned to these submenus by assigning it to the category when you post.
Follow this great guide to configuring menu items and it also shows how to nest pages. https://wordpress.com/support/menus/#create-drop-down-menus

Thank you both! My question was answered. Very quick and helpful responses from both of you.
