How to create drop down sub-menu's in the header

I am stuck on how to create the sub-menus the demo for this theme shows. I want a variety of headings that display a drop down option of posts how can I do this?

Hi there,
I will try to help you with this. You wish to have posts listed in drop down sub-menus under main menu options.
You can achieve the same by following these steps:
– Go to My Sites>Themes>Customize>Menus
– Select the Menu
– Click on Add Items
– Select the Item you want to add (in your case Posts)
– Select the Posts
– Click on Reorder (or Drag and Drop)
– Reorder your posts below the menu option you want to add and shift it to right to have it in sub-menu

I did this but all it did was put all my posts into the header. It wouldn’t let me have multiple menu’s across the top to then add items to.

Can you please check once again if you have organised your menus?
A drop down can be created by shifting the menus to right side. Main menus are aligned to left and drop down sub-menus have a right shift under the main menu option.Refer this gifs on organising menus:
