How to create gallery from Media Library? Why so restrictive and Complex???

  How do I create gallery from exciting Media Library (images)?

  Why so restrictive and complex???

  Why is it faster just to reload /upload the images to create a gallery?

  but I would have to type all my image details all over again?

  You would think somebody would simplify WordPress by now in 2012.
